Two very serious looking dogs...
Circus and Red
Red has been in my team for 4 years. He made it all the way to Nome last year. He is a bit shy, but always ready to go. He is also a hard worker. Circus is new to me this year. He too made it all the way to Nome last year on Bob's team. He is such a sweetheart. He really loves to run next to Amber.

| Floyd |
Floyd is my "problem child"...he can be quite the stinker but he is also a hard working dog. I have to be careful who I put him with as he can intimidate the dog next to him...wouldn't know it by that smile ! He too is very sweet and loves attention. Last year he didn't make either team as he decided to go "hairless". We think that he had a allergy to the oat straw we had...but we still have no idea what was the cause of him losing his hair. This year he is doing great.

Tyson is new to my kennel this year. He is so sweet. I run him in wheel with Jack, two of my most lovable guys. They pair up well together. Tyson is an Iditarod Veteran.

Ursa is new to my kennel this year and is one of my leaders. She is such a hard worker. She is on the shy side. She runs great with Magic.

DeleteOtter is one of my key players...a hard working no nonsense dog, but a sweetie and a real talker..."Whoo Whoo Dog" is his nick name. He runs well with Chad. They are long time buddies.
Stovepipe is back with Angie and will be running on her team. Awesome dog. I will miss him. He is a Great leader.
Tok is a sweetheart and he is retired. He will be with us on Iditarod in spirit. Love that "one ear up, one ear down". Tok is one of my very special dogs...and will be sad at the start of Iditarod as this will be the first season that he will not be leading for me.
Floyd...hmmm. what doesn't he do...just kidding. With people he is so lovable and wants attention and so high energey. With dogs he is rather intimidating and he is one of the smaller dogs. He will be quick to steel his partner's food, and snacks. When he is with a new partner he is snarly. So...we will have to see how he does through the winter. He is not "high on the list" as I like dogs who all get along well. Last year Bob put him with Bristol who was a snarly girl and she met her match. After they each snarled at each other they both decided to cool it. I guess in a way he is like a school bully.
