FRIDAY'S RUN--WILLOW CREEK CROSSING

Our run today was a short one.  Our temps were about 25 and it was snowing.  Our forecast is for more snow on Saturday and rain on Sunday.  Our run was out of the kennel through that back side of the Needle-eye and across Willow Creek.  In the above picture we just dropped down onto Willow Creek.  You can see the lead off to the right that is open water.   We cross about 8 feet from it.

Just past the lead, and we are almost across Willow Creek.
Heading for the Lucky Shot Trail.  We are heading to Almond Lake.  When we made it to Almond Lake I went left and Bob went to the right.  We each had oncoming passes with other teams out on the lake.  Once around the lake it was back onto the Lucky Shot Trail, but this time we headed to the Willow Creek Park and back to the Lucky Shot Trail, across Willow Creek and into the Needle eye and back home.

It was nice to actually arrive home before dinner time...I had a pot roast in the crock pot and when we came in the house it smelled soooo good!   We sat down and had a nice dinner...actually at 5 pm.  Then it was back outside.  I spent 3 hours snow blowing the driveway and kennel.  Bob loaded up the freezers with as much of our meat order as would fit.
