| DROP BAGS??? |
We then made the decision to drive into Anchorage and make a mad dash to Costco to pick up items for our Iditarod Food Drops. It was over $600 to get out the door. EEKS!
On the way back to town we made a quick stop at JoAnn's to pick up a few items needed for sewing projects. Then off to the credit union to drop off our meat shipment payment. Next stop was Carrs for Chinese Food and salad bar. Then back to the laundromat to pick up a clean sled bag. All the while it was raining cats and dogs...Ugh! Back in Willow we made a quick stop to the video store and the post office.
Then it was home and time to unload the Subaru...not to mention...in the POURING DOWN RAIN! We are so glad that we have our awing on the front of the house. I have spent the evening sorting through our training booties.
Thought at this time of year you would see nothing but snow.So much for getting away from the rain. We have had a cold snap for the last four days. Yesterday it was 24 when I got up. Suppose to stay dry for up to a week with freezing temperatures every day. Hope things cool down for you and the snow fly's again soon.Spring cant get here soon enough far as I am concerned though.Jeff
