Well, Linda came over and we spent the day working on Iditarod drop bags. It was nice having company rather than working alone. We watched Mary and Bob take off with the teams that they were running. When they left, the dogs in the kennel again let out a mournful howl and again, I joined them. Linda was amazed at how mournful they sounded when their teammates took off.
Well, we got a lot done. We have all of the booties for both teams ready for each check point. We also bagged a few of our food items. Chemical warmer packs for the trail are done for both mushers. Tonight I will work on our glove bags.
