Well, we have a ton of meat to cut up and hopefully stuff into freezers to keep the meat frozen. Our temperatures have warmed up and that gives us a challenge to keep all of our meat frozen solid. We have cases of frozen meat buried beneath tarps and then covered in snow.
Because of the warm temperatures we are having to cut our meat after dark when the temperatures drop. During the day, the sun is out and the meat thaws a bit. So....fun, fun, fun. I bagged up 25 bags of cut up meat for the dogs on the trail. This meat is called HiPro and we have it cut up like slices of bread. That is one of the meats that we will snack the dogs with.
Tough life of a sled dog...This is Amber. She does "house dog" really well. She loves to go with me in the car and likes to boss around Buzz in the house. She is such a sweetheart. She is quite a talker. When I drive into the kennel I can always hear her talking to me.
