Linda and Larry Cline, proprietors of Gigglewood Lakeside Inn so graciously hosted a work party for Bob and I. It was a wonderful day spent sewing, powdering booties, packaging work gloves and socks, packaging booties and cooking and preparing meals. We became a neck warmer and wrist warmer factory. Such a good feeling to be getting things done. Dogs had a rest day...but not the mushers.
Bob was busy at the kennel taking care of my dogs as well as his, cutting meat, making drop chains, making the usual dump run and trip to the hardware store. A full day for both of us.
With thanks to Larry and Linda, we now have all of our meals for Iditarod safely in a freezer. That is such a good feeling.
