This will be a real experience living "off grid". No complaints here...I just find it kind of amusing when I turn on the lanterns when the generator is running and we have lights. The opposite is true too...as I was continuously flipping light switches and no lights. Right now I am working on my computer with my headlamp. I figure that I will go through far more batteries this winter.
"OFF GRID" CLOTHES DRYER
We run the generator in the mornings and again in the evenings. We plan our dog watering, dog feeding, clothes washing, showering, cooking, and dishes then. That is also the time that I charge my phones and laptop. Internet is still a work in process.
