Well, "birdie" got a clean bill of health and was issued her health certificate so that she can fly to Washington. She will be be on the 10 AM flight from Anchorage and will arrive in Seattle at 2:35 pm. She will be the star attraction for the class visits.
This will be a new experience for her...her first flight and first time to Washington. When she arrives at my house, she will get to meet a cat for the first time. That should be interesting. I also think that it will be the cat's first time meeting a dog, let alone, a Sled Dog !
Birdie will be on the trail again soon...this time checkpoints will be Elementary and Middle Schools.
