IOWA...HERE WE COME!

Bob and I traveled back to his hometown in Iowa.  We had a great time visiting his mom and sight seeing.  It was my first time to Iowa.  We made a class visit to Sheryl's 4th grade class.  The kids were fabulous and kept us busy answering questions.  We shared with them the many stories of the trail and finished with a PowerPoint presentation. Their smiling faces and enthusiasm were great.  It was especially exciting for Jeffrey as he got to meet his Iditarod Musher in person.  He had chosen Bob as his musher to follow.  We passed out booties to the kids.  They were actually worn by the dogs on the Iditarod trail.  Thank you for welcoming us to your classroom !
